MAKE Group, an independent product and technology firm, has launched AstralBeam on Casper. Casper is the latest cross-chain infrastructure layer that connects real-world assets (RWAs) across Robinhood Chain, Base, Ethereum, and Polygon while anchoring them to the T-REX compliance ledger. This development makes Casper the first non-EVM blockchain integrated into the T-REX network.
T-REX Ledger is currently overseeing over $32 billion in tokenized assets issued under the ERC-3643 standard. While, Apex Group, which services $3.5 trillion in assets, has committed to bringing $100 billion in tokenized assets to the T-REX Ledger by 2027. In addition, AstralBeam serves as a token bridge and cross-chain messaging layer for regulated assets to move between networks without shedding their compliance rules.
AstralBeam Enables Compliant RWA Transfers on Casper
AstralBeam has made it possible for tokenized equities such as Netflix, SpaceX, and Amazon, along with tokenized gold and silver, to leave brokerage environments and move onto Casper for use as DeFi collateral or within RWA vaults. To make that happen, the bridge incorporates a messaging layer built on the ERC-7786 standard that carries compliance data between Casper and the T-REX Ledger. Transfers on Casper are duly verified against T-REX’s investor rules, eligibility registries, and transfer restrictions before settlement.
Casper is designed specifically for regulated real-world assets (RWAs) as its smart contracts are upgradeable, which allows tokenized instruments to adapt as regulations evolve. Transactions achieve true finality within seconds to deliver the level of settlement certainty expected by transfer agents. The network also supports the ERC-3643 compliance standard natively and treats regulated tokens as first-class citizens.
AstralBeam Strengthens Security and Compliance for Cross-Chain RWAs
AstralBeam provides a five-verifier-node architecture to eliminate single points of trust. The source-chain transaction is independently verified by each node, and assets only move when three of five verifiers reach a consensus. This 3/5 rule is applied directly by the blockchain contracts. The bridge has been on testnet for six months and has been continuously tested, and is currently being security audited by Halborn Security over multiple rounds.
Joachim Lebrun, the Co-founder of the T-REX Network and Head of Blockchain at Apex Group, shared his remarks, stating, “Compliance cannot stop at the edge of a single chain. For tokenized securities to reach institutional scale, they need to move across networks without shedding the identity and eligibility rules they were issued with. Casper is the first non-EVM network in the T-REX ecosystem, and the AstralBeam messaging layer is what makes that connection real.”
Michael Steuer of MAKE Group added, “Tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) are settling on-chain now, and the hard problem is not moving them, it is moving them without losing the rules they were issued under. AstralBeam does both jobs: it bridges assets between Casper, Robinhood Chain, and the major EVM networks, and it carries the compliance conversation with the T-REX Ledger.”
AstralBeam is all set for its public testnet phase, with a mainnet launch scheduled to follow. Documentation for users and developers is already available. Overall, the integration is expanding the reach of compliant tokenized assets beyond EVM chains and positions Casper as a regulated destination for institutional-grade real-world assets (RWAs).
