PANews 7月24日消息，据Cointelegraph报道，BitMEX在其宣布关闭当天遭遇集体诉讼，原告指控该衍生品平台通过欺诈性操纵客户清算以侵占用户比特币抵押品。原告BKX Services Inc.和David Namdar在纽约南区联邦法院提起诉讼，声称在BitMEX上因强制清算共损失622.66枚BTC，其中BKX损失至少305.81枚BTC，Namdar损失超316.85枚BTC。原告指控BitMEX内部交易团队可获取客户隐私信息，并在服务器冻结期间继续交易，而普通用户无法访问或平仓，平台通过保险基金从强制清算中获利。原告要求返还被扣押的比特币并索赔补偿性及惩罚性赔偿，拟代表自2018年7月23日起购买BTC掉期产品的美国客户。BitMEX同日宣布将于9月23日停止运营，已停止新注册，自8月26日起禁止新开仓位。
