PANews 7月23日消息，据格隆汇报道，优步联合创始人Travis Kalanick旗下的机器人公司Atoms完成一轮17亿美元融资，由Andreessen Horowitz(a16z)领投，Ben Horowitz将加入董事会。本轮股权投资方包括贝恩资本、Fifth Wall、Chemistry、A*、K5 Global、Abstract、SV Angel、Alpha Square Group及优步。Horowitz将这笔投资的逻辑聚焦于专用机器人，而非人形机器人。他指出，在重工业领域，专用机器人远比人形机器人更适合完成大多数工作。
