PANews 4月21日消息，美联储主席提名人沃什表示，如果获得任命并执掌美联储，他将推动政策制定方面的全面改革。沃什向参议院委员会表示：“在我看来，美联储需要进行根本性的政策改革。在应对新冠疫情期间的通胀问题时所出现的失误要求进行这样的改革，我认为这意味着政策执行方式的转变。我认为这意味着需要一种不同的、全新的通胀框架。”沃什表示，我们需要新的工具，我们需要新的沟通方式，他提到了前瞻性指引、经济预测和点阵图。他说美联储应该等到会议时再发表声明，因为预测会妨碍决策。
