BTC and ETH trading suggestions and trend analysis: 10/21
BTC briefly dropped to around 79,700, hitting a four-week low, before quickly rebounding above 81,000, indicating strong buying interest near 80,000, which is also close to the 60-day moving average forming technical support. Subsequently, prices oscillated within the range of 79,700–82,800.
4-hour chart analysis
From the 4-hour perspective, Bitcoin has been in a corrective phase within the daily-level decline since falling from around 87,000 at the beginning of October. Some analysts believe that a daily-level downtrend requires at least three 4-hour structures. The first leg of the decline may have ended near 79,700, now entering the second 4-hour bounce, with a potential third downward wave still possible. If the 80,000 level breaks, further downside could target 77,000.
Analyst Shengge's trading advice:
Short BTC at 83,500–84,000, target 82,000–81,500
Short ETH at 2,470–2,490, target 2,400–2,380
