After a sharp drop following the non-farm payroll data release, Bitcoin/Ethereum rebounded somewhat over the weekend. Bitcoin, however, hasn't seen much upward movement from yesterday to today, essentially maintaining a sideways trend. Ethereum, on the other hand, has seen a relatively larger rebound, even breaking through the $2500 mark again. The previous rapid decline was accompanied by high volume, while the current rebound is characterized by significantly lower volume, suggesting a final push in the structure and a signal of a potential retest of the top. Currently, the weekly chart shows significant resistance above, with multiple attempts to break through failing, maintaining a high-level consolidation. If a further decline occurs, the drop could be much larger, potentially even a 10,000-point plunge. Those with short positions can continue to hold patiently; those without can enter short positions at the current price. Trading suggestions: Short Bitcoin around 80,000, with a target of 77,000 to 78,000; Short Ethereum around 2510, or add to short positions if you have sufficient capital, with a target of 2380 to 2430. If it breaks through, watch for further support at 75,000 and 2250.
Gu Jingci: A major drop in Bitcoin/Ethereum is imminent on September 6th; prepare for short positions.
