According to data from Dune, as reported by BlockBeats on July 29th, Binance bStocks' total assets under management (AUM) reached approximately $599 million, surpassing xStocks' AUM of approximately $589 million. This data shows that bStocks has further expanded its scale in the on-chain equity asset sector, demonstrating continued growth in market demand and user engagement.
According to BlockBeats, on July 29, Altura, an on-chain yield platform, announced that its plan to purchase USDT using fiat funds from its bank account through an over-the-counter (OTC) trading partner has been thwarted because the bank account holding the funds has been temporarily frozen (screenshots show the frozen amount is approximately £16.446 million, or approximately $21.88 million).
Altura stated that it has communicated with the bank regarding this matter, and the bank has requested that it wait for the review to be completed. The bank also stated that it will contact Altura separately if supplementary materials are required. Currently, the situation is completely out of Altura's control, and they must await further response from the bank. Altura also announced that due to limited team resources, it will suspend its community chat function to focus on addressing the current issue. It promised to provide timely updates through its official X account, Telegram channel, and Discord, and urged the community to avoid speculation until official confirmation is received.
Previously, Altura announced on June 22 that it had decided to orderly close the Altura Vault due to a surge in withdrawals, and planned to convert the funds into USDT through an OTC partner and reopen redemptions.
According to BlockBeats, on July 29th, Hyperinsight monitoring showed that storage stocks continued to correct, putting increasing pressure on the long SKHX position held by trader Loracle. This position was established on June 24th with 2x leverage, totaling approximately $2.548 million, at an average price of $1,229.4. With SKHX falling to $992.3, the cost line has been breached by 19.3%, resulting in a floating loss of approximately $609,000, a return of -192.9%, and a loss nearly 1.93 times the initial margin.
Loracle's only remaining storage exposure is this SKHX long position. Crypto assets are also under pressure:
HYPE spot trading shows a floating loss of approximately US$6.502 million;
The total unrealized loss on the NEAR, WLD, HYPE, XPL, ASTER, and SOL contracts is approximately US$5.143 million.
