They now simultaneously occupy the top two positions in terms of Brent crude oil holdings on the Hyperliquid platform, with each address holding over $20 million in short positions, totaling $50 million. Both short positions are leveraged at 10x, with an average price of approximately $104.7 and an average liquidation price of $142.6. As Brent crude oil prices continue to decline, the two positions have generated a combined unrealized profit of approximately $3 million, representing an overall return of approximately 12%.

In the past hour, total liquidations across the network reached $17.73 million, with $17.16 million from long positions, with $574,548.91 from short positions. BTC liquidation $5.59 million, ETH liquidation $6.29 million.

He pointed out that elliptic curve cryptography is nearing obsolescence, and blockchain developers need to accept the necessity of cryptographic variability. Carter believes that Bitcoin developers are "blind" to the quantum resistance problem, while Ethereum developers have made it a "top strategic priority" and have developed a detailed quantum resistance roadmap; if Bitcoin does not change quickly, the performance of ETH/BTC will begin to reflect this priority difference.
