According to Odaily Planet Daily, Aster announced on the X platform that it has launched the WLFI/USDT perpetual contract trading pair, offering 4x leverage.

Huoxun Finance reported on August 23rd that Coinglass data shows that over the past 24 hours, the cryptocurrency market saw $403 million in liquidated contracts across the network, including $236 million in long positions and $166 million in short positions. The total liquidation amount for BTC was $45.0742 million, and the total liquidation amount for ETH was $197 million.

The WFLI team’s rumored claim that “Aave will acquire 7% of the total WLFI token supply” is false.
According to Odaily Planet Daily, the WLFI team has stated that the claim that "Aave will receive 7% of the total WLFI token supply" is false and fake news. Previously, community members claimed that according to a previously released proposal, AaveDAO would receive 20% of the protocol fees generated by WLFI Aave v 3 instances and approximately 7% of the total WLFI token supply. A suspected WLFI Wallet team member denied the news related to the proposal that Aave would acquire 7% of the total WLFI tokens.
Huoxun Finance reported on August 23rd that Dylan_0x (@0xDylan_), a suspected WLFI Wallet team member, posted on the X platform denying any connection to the proposal that Aave would receive 7% of WLFI's total token supply. Crypto influencer @Luyaoyuan1 commented on this incident, saying, "I previously firmly believed that Aave had long AAVE with these 7% and 20% protocol revenues. However, in the weeks leading up to the WLFI announcement, I saw weakness in AAVE/ETH and a lagging increase in Aave's value. Rumors suggest that WLFI won't fork and won't give AAVE 7% tokens. This shouldn't be surprising, as there's precedent. SPK defaulted on 10% of its revenue and only gave 1% in the end, ultimately falling through. WLFI's public offering promised a full unlock, but now it's partially unlocked. AAVE is now a fool's errand, repeatedly deceived. If it defaults, support AAVE in suing WLFI." Currently, there's no public way to verify Dylan_0x (@0xDylan_)'s identity. Investors should exercise caution and protect their assets.

Odaily Planet Daily reported that according to Onchain Lens monitoring, a Bitcoin OG whale exchanged another 5,000 BTC (worth US$574.67 million) for ETH. The whale holds 179.49 ETH, worth US$850.5 million. It also holds a long position in Ethereum with a total of 135,265 ETH, worth US$640.92 million.
