According to Beating AI, independent developer cozyblaze integrated the GPT-6 Astra into Valve's 3D puzzle game *Portal*. He gave Astra only one instruction: play through to the end credits without connecting to the internet or using a walkthrough. Astra successfully completed the game in approximately 23 hours and 43 minutes, consuming about 435 million tokens, equivalent to about $571 USD based on the API price.

Astra plays games differently than humans. When it's thinking, the game pauses, and it checks the current screen, character position, and perspective to decide its next move, where to look, where to open portals, and then resumes the game. During the game, OpenAI's service experienced capacity issues, and the author manually resumed the task, later switching to the faster Fast mode. However, public logs show that the author didn't provide it with any further game hints from the start until the end credits.

However, this isn't a rigorous benchmark. Portal has been around for nearly 20 years, and there are countless guides and videos online. Even if the experiment prohibited Astra from actively searching for guides online, it couldn't rule out the possibility that relevant game knowledge had already been incorporated into the training data. What's truly interesting is that the AI was able to complete a task that lasted almost a whole day, requiring constant observation and manipulation of the 3D environment.

According to BlockBeats, on September 8th, based on OnchainLens monitoring, Hyperliquid repurchased and burned 15,350 HYPE tokens in the past 24 hours, with an average repurchase price of approximately $86.17 and a total value of approximately $1.32 million.

To date, Hyperliquid has destroyed approximately 48.45 million HYPE tokens, worth about $4.11 billion at current prices, representing 4.84% of the maximum HYPE supply.
